KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A new report that came out on Wednesday is shedding light on how an organization is working to address the housing challenges in West Michigan.
The group, Housing Kent, works with hundreds of people, private and public organizations to try and make sure everyone has access to affordable housing.
The report they released on Wednesday aims to help address the increase in the unhoused population in Kent County. Between 2017 and 2019, the unhoused population grew by 37%.
